Natalia Rivera-Torres is the Associate Director of Pre-Clinical Development at the ChristianaCare Gene Editing Institute, leading research that advances gene repair mechanisms and CRISPR-based approaches for therapeutic development in human cells.

Natalia oversees preclinical strategy for solid tumor programs, including head and neck cancers, guiding study design, execution, and translation while supporting IND preparation and collaboration. Her work spans homology-directed repair, Single-Strand Template Repair, and application of gene editing platforms to advance novel oncology candidates.
